Senior Vice President, Innovation & Transformation
Responsibility
Tyner is responsible for driving transformational initiatives within the bank, leveraging technology to realize the bank’s strategic vision and improve the experiences of our customers and employees. He also works with the bank’s business development teams to manage relationships with commercial lending customers in highly specialized industries.
History
Tyner began his career in banking in 2011 as a teller. Since then, he has worked in both Retail Banking and Mortgage Lending before moving to Commercial Lending. From 2013 to 2023, Tyner held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Credit and Lending roles at Main Street Bank. Since 2020, he has led numerous complex software implementation projects and has contributed to the bank’s strategic plan.
Membership
Outside of work, Tyner serves on the development committee of TransitMatters, a Boston-based mass transit advocacy organization working to ensure access to reliable transit options throughout Greater Boston.
Fun Fact
Tyner is an avid runner, cyclist, and hiker. He has traveled to all 48 of the continental U.S. states, all 10 Canadian provinces, and all of the 351 municipalities in Massachusetts.
