Additionally, this technology allows us to verify your identification in real time so that your accounts are always secure. Video Connect allows any of our customers to use their electronic device to communicate directly and securely with a bank representative.
What Can I Use Main Street Video Connect For?
Video Connect is revolutionary because along with connecting you face-to-face with a bank representative, it allows them to capture signatures, securely share documents, and verify personal identification. You can even share your screen so that they can walk you through any complications. Because of this new technology we can comfortably and safely help you open accounts, apply for loans and credit cards, and do almost anything that could be done in-person at one of our branches. This is a real digital branch experience, fully staffed and standing by to assist.
Our virtual branch team is here to help with anything they can so that you can accomplish a wide variety of tasks. You can get your questions answered, ask your account balance, inquire about your transaction history, make internal transfers, and much more. It is worth noting that there are a few limitations to what we can accomplish at a distance, namely:
1. We are unable to handle and withdraw money.
2. We are unable to notarize documents.
We can capture documentation and signatures digitally, but we are limited in these regards. Aside from these two things (and rare exceptions) we are highly capable of accomplishing your banking needs. And for any exceptions, you are always welcome to visit a branch in person.
