I’d like to share our great experience with Main Street bank. First, the entire mortgage process was made a breeze by mark Davis and his team. We were kept informed every step of the way and our many questions were answered promptly. Today I realized that I mistakenly made our first payment twice 🤦♂️. I am not tech savvy so when I had to accomplish two technical avenues I went to Main Street Bank. I now have on-line banking for the first time along with a complete and patiently given how-to as well as a way to add to my account through Venmo. The staff at Northborough Main Street Bank were friendly and helpful and incredibly patient with the process of getting me set up. I have been banking in Ayer for about 40 years now. I’ve been been with Main Street Bank since the Ayer branch opened. This bank is easily the best bank I have ever been with! Gone are many of the fees, hassles, and aggravating problems associated with the larger commercial banks. This bank makes it easy. I am not a customer of Main Street Bank, but I am a caregiver to a new customer. My patient is immobile and spends the majority of her days at home, unless I need to bring her to appointments. She does not have a computer but she needed an account opened. Ali in the Ayer branch was so kind and patient, and went above & beyond to help my client open this account. She took the time to go to my clients home to make sure everything would go smoothly with the finalizing of the account. My client said Ali was extremely kind and thoughtful, and even made sure she didn’t need help moving around or getting things before she left. I moved to Marlborough in 2006 and began banking with Marlborough Savings Bank the same year. They eventually merged with Main Street Bank and I stayed with the new entity. Main Street’s service is exemplary — I have remained with them even though I now live in CT. They have suffered through me learning how to Mobile Deposit, they have had my back as I traveled literally around the country for business, and they have serviced my banking needs without hesitation. These truly are unprecedented times. I have a preexisting condition and was wondering how I could deposit a check. I’m really not one to use mobile apps all that much but I found out that you could deposit a check using your mobile app.
I installed the app and it really was amazing. The first try was denied because of a bad image I took of the back side of the check. I received the an email and was told to try again. I took a better picture and within 5 minutes the check was approved and deposited into my account. Amazing.
One of the easiest apps I have ever used. Bravo to the developers. The response time was amazing. This allowed me to stay safe and I appreciate that very much.
I have been with Main Street Bank since the early “NMSB” days. I believe in using local businesses whenever possible. And your service over the years has been stellar. Just wanted to let you know that we paid off our note this morning. I just wanted to take the time to compliment Dave Gentleman in your lending department on the unbelievable customer service I received while going through my house refinance.
