Responsibility
As Senior Vice President of Retail Lending and Loan Servicing at Main Street Bank, Craig oversees strategy and operations across the retail loan portfolio, including origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections. He leads innovation and process improvements to boost efficiency, manage risk, and enhance the customer experience. Craig collaborates with internal teams and external partners to align lending operations with the bank’s growth and compliance objectives. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence and transformative change.
History
Craig brings significant experience in mortgage lending, banking operations, strategy, and business process improvement. He has a proven track record to manage the bank’s retail loan portfolio, leading innovation, efficiency, and customer experience. Before Main Street Bank, Craig spent five years at Bluestone Bank in lending and process improvement, held leadership roles at Webster Five and fintech startups, and began his career as a Mortgage Loan Officer. He holds an MBA from Johnson & Wales University, a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bridgewater State University, and is a 2023 graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Membership
Craig has been deeply involved in advancing the banking and housing industries through leadership and service. He served for five years on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Bankers Association (MMBA), concluding his term in 2024. Since 2016, Craig has been a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the MMBA, and was elected President of the Foundation in 2024. In this role, he helps guide grantmaking efforts that support housing development and financial literacy across the Commonwealth.
