Wally Dwyer will assume the role of CEO of Main Street Bank on January 1, 2019. With over 28 years in banking, Dwyer most recently served as President and CEO of the former North Middlesex Savings Bank, prior to its merger with Marlborough Savings Bank in 2017. Dwyer graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelors Degree in Economics, Southern New Hampshire University with a Masters of Business Administration, and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
An advocate for supporting local economies, Dwyer has championed the Bank’s position as a mutual, community bank. “I am both honored and humbled that the Board has entrusted me with the responsibility of managing this great institution. I’m looking forward to working together with our talented team of great employees and our wonderful customers to help them achieve success.”
